Our Purpose

University Innovation supports Â鶹´«Ã½'s commitment to academic excellence and student success by helping stakeholders navigate digital transformation. As technology evolves, so too must how we teach, work, and prepare students for their careers. We work across teaching, learning, operations, and student engagement to ensure that AI, emerging technologies, and innovation strategies strengthen what makes a Lamar education distinctive: expertise, mentorship, and learning grounded in real-world application.

Our Work

  • Support academic programs through strategic initiatives like AI in Every Program, helping design curriculum and assessments that remain rigorous and credible in a technology-enabled environment
  • Foster engagement among faculty, staff, and academic leaders through community-of-practice learning models, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving
  • Provide resources, training, and guidance on responsible technology adoption aligned with your values and priorities
  • Develop student-facing training and resources to build digital literacy and innovation skills
  • Partner with CITL, ISO, and campus units to scale effective practices and build a culture of innovation across the university

Whether you're reimagining your courses, improving operations, or figuring out how these tools fit your role, bring your questions, and we'll work through them together.
